To register as a member of the Detmold University of Music, please use your login ID and the corresponding password. To do this, use your Shibboleth login user account. After registering for the first time, you must agree to the terms of use and data protection. If you do not yet have an account for HfM Detmold, please contact the Key/User Administrator (helene.schilke@hfm-detmold.de) to obtain access to Moodle.

To enroll in a Moodle course, use the course search in the “My Courses” menu. Enter the course name as a search term. Clicking on the course name of the desired course will take you to the enrollment options. In most cases, a password is required, which is usually given by the teacher at the first class or sent by email.

However, you must already be logged in to Moodle for the user account to be created in the system. To create a course, please contact the Key/User Administrator (helene.schilke@hfm-detmold.de). Include the full short name, as well as a course range. The course areas are listed on the home page. After the course is created, you will receive a confirmation from the administrator. If you have a list of participants with email addresses, you can use this to enroll people in the Moodle course. However, students must have already logged in to Moodle so that the user accounts can be created in the system.
